This blog has been set up to facilitate discussion of issues surrounding HIV and immigration in Australia, following AFAO’s workshop on HIV and the immigration health requirement on 24 September.

Here you will find a range of documents relating to HIV, disability, the immigration health requirement and the UN Convention on the Rights of People with Disability.

It’s also intended as a space to add your thoughts and share information.

I’m SO happy to see audio from the forum published online, and so quickly, too! On the day my flight was delayed and I missed half the forum, and I was sitting on the plane thinking “gosh it would be good if these things were podcast”. Keep up the good work!
